WRONG FLAG FOR 20 YEARS
During try out of the opening ceremony of the 11th Olympic Winter Games in 1972 in Sapporo, Japan, the Olympic flag carried into the stadium had a wrong order of placement of colored rings legalized by the Olympic Charter. One of the viewers paid attention on this issue. During the process, it was discovered that the “wrong flag” was being hang at all Winter Games since 1952. Within 20 years, nobody have noticed it.
